Engine

An engine is an answer engine that Sparkle measures in each sweep. Six engines are measured.

• ChatGPT
• Gemini
• Grok
• Google AI Overview
• Google AI Mode

Google engines

Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode are separate engines. They can answer the same query differently, so Sparkle reports them separately in entitlements, sweeps, reports, trends and citation insights.

Where you see it

Entitlements on the organization, the engine mix on a brand, and the per-engine views in AI Visibility.

Set it up

1. Open Organization, then Integrations, and connect the provider for the engine.
2. Check that the engine is included in the organization entitlements.
3. Include the engine in the brand team and engines settings. It is measured from the next sweep.
