Slack

Posts alerts to a Slack channel through a webhook.

Set up

1. Open Integrations in the navigation for your role.
2. Choose Add integration, then select Slack.
3. Enter Webhook URL (must start with https://hooks.slack.com/); Channel (must start with #).
4. Choose Connect. Helm tests the connection before it saves the integration.

If the test fails, you can choose Save without verifying. The integration is then saved with an error status until you fix it.

What the screen shows

The form asks for the Slack webhook URL and the channel. The URL is checked to begin with the Slack webhook address, and the channel must start with #.

Notes

• Create the webhook in Slack for the channel you want, then paste the URL here.
• Channel names must start with #, for example #cards-geo.
