WordPress

Connects a WordPress site so Helm can audit its posts and pages.

Set up

1. Open Integrations in the navigation for your role.
2. Choose Add integration, then select WordPress.
3. Enter Site URL; Username; Application password.
4. Choose Connect. Helm tests the connection before it saves the integration.

If the test fails, you can choose Save without verifying. The integration is then saved with an error status until you fix it.

What the screen shows

The form asks for the site URL, a username and an application password. The application password is created in WordPress and is separate from the user’s login password.

Notes

• Create a dedicated user for Helm with an editor role, so the audit can read drafts.
• Application passwords can be revoked in WordPress without changing the user’s login.
